Dash Snow (July 27, 1981 - July 13, 2009)
Snow ran away from home and began living on the streets at 13 or 14, and began taking photographs. When Dash Snow picked up a camera at the age of 16, his motives were straightforward -- to document nights out in New York that he and his friends found they could not remember the following morning.

Snow died on the evening of July 13, 2009 at Lafayette House, a hotel in lower Manhattan. A New York Times article characterized his death as "a junkie’s end".
